Gangotri is a pilgrimage town located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The holy Gangotri temple is located in this sacred town. It is believed that at this place River Ganges descended on the earth after the severe penance of King Bhagirathi. The Gangotri Temple was built by the Gurkha general Amar Singh Thapa in the early 18th century. The Ganges originates from Gaumakh which is accessible after a 19 Kms trek from Gangotri. Haridwar/Rishikesh – Uttarakashi / Harshil
Morning leave for Uttarkashi, a drive of 120 kms. on arrival Uttarkashi check in at the hotel evening visit Vishwnath Temple, Overnight stay at the hotel.
Uttarkashi: Situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple of Lord Vishwanath is located here where a massive iron trident is erected. The other important temples situated here are Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi.

Uttarakashi / Harshil - Gangotri - Uttarakashi
Early morning drive to Gangotri and on arrival take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja after that and relax for some time in the lovely surroundings, afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi, on arrival check into the Hotel.
